ETA-Certified Fiberglass Mesh for ETICS Applications G160 Standard is a high-strength fiberglass mesh developed for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS). Certified under the European Technical Assessment (ETA), it is designed to reinforce under-plaster layers, providing maximum dimensional stability and protection against mechanical and thermal stress in high-load insulation areas.
Key Features
The GATEX G160 Standard fiberglass mesh must be embedded into a base layer of smoothing adhesive (minimum 2–3 mm) applied to the insulation surface. Follow these steps for correct installation:
Important:
Mesh overlaps must not align with insulation board joints. For critical zones such as wall corners or around window and door openings, apply diagonal reinforcement patches (approx. 20 × 30 cm) to enhance crack resistance and structural stability.
