GATEX was established in Kaçanik, Kosovo, in the Western Balkans, with a clear vision: to manufacture high-quality fiberglass mesh by combining regional textile expertise with modern production technology and international quality standards. What began as a small team of passionate engineers has evolved into a company recognized for its precision, innovation, and commitment to excellence.
Our vertically integrated facility became fully operational, covering the entire production cycle — from warping and weaving to impregnation and finishing — ensuring consistent quality and scalable output.
We achieved TÜV verification and secured ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. That same year, GATEX became ETAG 004 compliant and earned CE marking, establishing a strong foundation for European market expansion.
GATEX became fully REACH-conformant and declared its operations Climate Neutral reinforcing our long-term commitment to product safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable manufacturing.
GATEX received ETA certification, confirming the performance and durability of our fiberglass mesh systems at the European level. By this point, we had become a leading producer in the Western Balkans, with a growing network of distributors and OEM partners across Europe.
We plan to introduce new mesh variants tailored for specialized insulation systems and expand our logistics capacity and partnership network across Central and Southern Europe—continuing to build on our values of certified quality, regional strength, and production precision.
